Her pa was a London expertise dealer and gallery owner from St. Louis. She wlike that which discovered as a child actress for her beauty and immediately offered comely roles in diversified films. Starring in a sum of 70 movies, she is best remembered for "Suddenly Last Summer (1959)", "The Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958)", "Titan (1956)", "Cleopatra (1963)", and "The Taming of the Shrew (1967)". Elizabeth Taylor was nominated for the Academy Confer for a sum of 5 times in 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, and 1967 and won it in 1967 for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf? (1966)".
